A website for a portrait photography studio, set out like a small printed magazine.

The brief

The studio publishes its best work as photo stories. The site had to feel like a magazine people want to read, while still making it easy to see sitting prices and book a session.

The idea

A series cover opens the homepage, stories read like long features, and an A to Z index lists every person photographed. Black, white and one lilac accent keep the focus on faces.

Libre Caslon Display — Classic high-contrast display serif. Logo, headlines and large statements
Spline Sans — Quiet grotesk for navigation, captions, buttons and prices. Libre Caslon Text is used for reading
