Riverline Journal
Online magazine · Web Design
An online magazine about the cities that grew up along Asia’s great rivers.

The brief
The magazine publishes many stories each week across cities, food, design and culture. The site had to keep a busy front page easy to scan and give long articles a calm place to read.
The idea
A tall condensed masthead, a warm reading serif and thin column rules give it the feel of a printed journal. Clear sections, audio stories and a Sunday letter give readers reasons to come back.
Design direction
Editorial, lively and well ordered
